When you visit our website or use our platform, we automatically collect:
- IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
- Pages visited, time spent, referring URLs, and click behavior
- Call recordings and transcripts when you interact with our AI voice agents (with applicable disclosures)
- Log data, error reports, and usage telemetry from our platform
Information From Third-Party Sources
We may receive information about you from our data providers and integration partners, including:
- Property ownership records from ATTOM Data Solutions
- Contact information (phone, email) from BatchData skip-trace services
- Weather event data from NOAA public datasets
- CRM data you sync from GoHighLevel or other connected platforms
2. How We Use Information

- Providing, operating, and improving the AI-STORMS platform
- Processing storm events and automatically discovering affected properties in your configured territory
- Powering AI voice agents that answer inbound calls and conduct outbound outreach on your behalf
- Sending SMS and email communications through your AI-STORMS campaigns
- Scheduling and calendar integration with Google Calendar and Outlook
Account & Billing
- Creating and managing your account
- Processing payments and managing your subscription
- Sending transactional emails, invoices, and account notifications
Communications & Marketing
- Responding to your inquiries, support requests, and demo requests
- Sending product updates, newsletters, and promotional content (you may opt out at any time)

- Detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal process

3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We share information with third-party vendors who process data on our behalf, subject to confidentiality obligations. These include payment processors, cloud infrastructure providers, analytics platforms, and the AI and communication service providers described in Section 7.
Your Organization
Data you generate within the AI-STORMS platform — including contacts, leads, call recordings, and campaign results — is accessible to authorized users within your organization account.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AI-STORMS, our customers, or the public.
Business Transfers
If AI-STORMS is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit
- AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest
- Role-based access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- SOC 2-aligned infrastructure hosted on AWS (us-east-1)

5. Your Rights (CCPA & State Privacy Laws)
Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights including:
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt Out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
- Right to Non-Discrimination: Exercise your privacy rights without receiving discriminatory treatment in our services or pricing.
- Right to Data Portability: Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, submit a verifiable request to hello@ai-storms.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request." We will respond within 45 days (with a possible 45-day extension where required).
For marketing email opt-outs, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send. For SMS opt-outs, reply STOP to any message. For outbound AI calls, tell our agent you wish to be removed and we will update your record immediately.
7. Third-Party Services & Data Providers
AI-STORMS integrates with the following third-party services to deliver our platform. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy:
When our platform makes outbound calls or sends SMS messages to homeowners on your behalf, we process contact information obtained from skip-trace data providers through your AI-STORMS account. You are responsible for ensuring your use of this data complies with applicable laws, including TCPA and state calling regulations. See our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy for more detail.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations:
- Account data: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days following account closure (to allow for data export), then deleted or anonymized.
- Call recordings and transcripts: Retained for 12 months by default; configurable to 30 or 90 days on request.
- Lead and contact data: Retained for the duration of your account; exported or deleted upon account closure.
- Billing records: Retained for 7 years as required by law.
- Log data: Retained for 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Note that some data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for analytics purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
AI-STORMS is a business-to-business platform intended solely for use by companies and professionals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will take prompt steps to delete it. 10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notification via email or through your account dashboard.
Your continued use of AI-STORMS after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
