Scenario planner methodology
The planner is arithmetic applied to inputs you control. It does not use an AI-STORMS uplift, an undisclosed cohort, or a claimed customer benchmark.
Input definitions
- Qualifying event
- An event that crosses your documented hazard, geography, source-confidence, and operating thresholds.
- Channel-eligible contact
- A record that passes the audience, consent, suppression, timing, jurisdiction, and channel rules configured for the intended action. It is not every property or enriched number.
- Booking rate
- The share of channel-eligible contacts that become booked inspections in your own observed funnel or planning assumption.
- Close rate
- The share of completed inspections that become signed jobs in your own operation.
- Average signed job value
- Gross contract value before labor, materials, refunds, overhead, acquisition cost, or platform fees.
Formulas
- Annual eligible contacts
- eligible contacts per event × qualifying events per year
- Modeled inspections
- annual eligible contacts × booking-rate assumption
- Modeled signed jobs
- modeled inspections × close-rate assumption
- Modeled gross job value
- modeled signed jobs × average signed job value
What the model does not claim
- That a weather signal proves damage at an individual property.
- That every enriched record is accurate, contactable, or eligible.
- That AI-STORMS changes your booking or close rate by a fixed amount.
- That gross job value equals incremental revenue, collected cash, or profit.
- That event frequency, provider health, crew capacity, or market conditions will match the scenario.
How to validate it
- Start with your last 6–12 months of event, eligibility, appointment, job, and capacity data.
- Save the assumptions used before an event.
- Replace each assumption with the observed value after the event.
- Track exclusions, provider degradation, cancellations, costs, collected revenue, and gross margin beside the funnel.
- Expand territory or channel volume only when the complete operating chain remains serviceable.
